Product Pick :Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Remember yesterday when I said I was an eyeshadow glutton? I wasn’t lying! *insert embarrassed laughter here* Another guilty eyeshadow pleasure I’ve recently brought into my makeup wardrobe is Urban Decay’s Naked 2 eyeshadow palette ($50+shipping when purchased directly from urbandecay.com). I’ve mentioned before that when it comes to eye makeup I’m more of a neutral girl but amp it up with liner and lashes. If you’re like me this palette is made for you. It’s made up entirely of basic neutrals and accompanying hues perfect for shading in the crease. Salivating yet? Dying to know what the colours look like inside? Keep reading my friends!

One of the most highly anticipated sequel palettes (the first Naked palette collection is also something to be desired) it features 12 of their best taupe and “greige” neutrals. Whether you like matte eyeshadow or shadow with a metallic finish there is something for everyone. Almost every shade can be paired together whether you’re wanting it all over the lid or in the crease, which helps provide foolproof eyeshadow colour coordination for makeup consumers who aren’t quite sure where to start. This palette makes it a cinch for everybody and having tried all the colours I can honestly tell you they look great on and work really well together. Scout’s honour!

Wanting to see them on first hand before making the purchase? Can’t blame you. Check out my arm pictured left featuring every colour in the palette blended on my skin. A few colours (1&3) are so matte nude you can barely see them but I assure you they’re there! So here is the colour run down: (left to right when looking at the palette)

1. Foxy                           7. Suspect
2. Half Baked                8. Pistol
3. Bootycall                   9. Verve
4. Chopper                   10. YDK
5. Tease                         11. Busted
6. Snakebite                 12. Blackout
