Product Pick :Clinique Chubby Stick

Chubby Stick— Is that a fat joke? Heck no! It’s just the most amazing lip colour stick that I’m foaming at the mouth over. Clinique’s Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms (what a mouthful) are so much fun. They spoil your lips with the perfect amount of moisture and shine and add a subtle hint of colour. Something that irks me about a lot of lip balms/glosses is how sticky they are. Nothing ticks me off more then if I’m wearing a gloss on a windy day and by the time I reach my car my hair is firmly attached to my lips. Pet peeve! You won’t get that with this product, which is why I love it so much. What’s more, it looks like a pencil but you don’t have to sharpen it. Genius! Just swivel it to reveal more lip balm when needed. My fav colours are Mighty Mimosa and Bountiful Blush.

Prefer a lip product with more punch? Fear not my bold lippy friends! Clinique has just released Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms, the added colour alternative to their regular Chubby Stick. They profess that this new stick will “tempt your lips with a soft cushion of colour that’s not quite sheer, not quite opaque— just the perfect happy medium.” I haven’t tried one of the new intense sticks yet but am very much looking forward to testing the Roomiest Rose and Chunkiest Chili shades, though I’m finding most of the new tints appealing.

On another Clinique note, they have amazing holiday gift sets this year including their Whole Lotta Colour gift pack featuring 5 Chubby Sticks (Richer Raisin, Curvy Candy, Chunky Cherry, Super Strawberry and Oversized Orange) for only $39.00 CAD. Considering they’re usually $19 CAD each this is a steal of a deal. To check out more gift sets go to clinique.com and click their holiday shop section.

Go get lippy with it friends!

UPDATE: As per Lindsay’s request, here is a pic with the chubby sticks I mentioned. Maybe not totally true to colour due to poor lighting (the Bountiful Blush does look a little lighter in person, very natural) but you get the gist!
